Site Updates
As most of you know, the site had some issues during a transition to rebuild it more streamlined (well, apparently anyway). It didn't go so hot, but we're trying to get it back on track. We'll keep track of known issues and list off when they're finished.Known Issues:
1) Now Playing does not function correctly when there are live DJ's. We are aware of this issue and are trying to figure out how to resolve it. It acts as though it is still functioning, but what is happening is the radio bot is actually still playing in the background and the live DJ's take control away from it. The now playing script however, continues to monitor the radio bot.2) The requests page is horrible Yea, we agree. The old one as a lot more functional. We're trying to bring back the original functionality, and maybe more who knows. A high priority on this is to get the functionality to browse by alphabetical order. In addition, we'd like to get DJ's playlists live through this system as well if possible.
3) Why is the staff page empty? No one is staff??? No, there is. It's just been a lower priority to get this page up... promise it'll be up :D
4) I use Internet Explore 6.x and the main page doesn't look right. Everything starts below the right hand menu... Unfortunately due to the previous coder's efforts in working with a css layout, the only fix I'm aware of at this time is to upgrade to IE7 or try another browser such as Firefox or Opera. Sorry for the inconvenience.
5) When I'm listening to the radio, sometimes it constantly buffers (cuts on and off). There are a few reasons this could be, you could be exceeding your bandwidth limitations. However, it is known that one of the two operating shoutcast servers for AAR has been having issues, RS1. If you are constantly having issues, please try directly connecting to rs2 by connecting to this url with your favorite shoutcast capable player: http://rs2.animeacademyradio.net:8500
